IQPage ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome browser extension that uses artificial intelligence to help users summarize, analyze, and interact with webpage content. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your:

• Email address
• Full name
• Google profile picture URL

This information is stored securely in our database (Supabase) and used solely to manage your account and subscription plan.

2.2 Page Content

When you explicitly trigger a feature (Summarize, Chat, Explain, Translate, Bias Check, Compare), the text content of the current webpage is sent to our secure backend server to generate an AI response.

2.3 Usage Data

We track how many summaries and Q&A requests you make per billing period to enforce plan limits. This data is stored in your user profile.

2.4 Citations and Notes

Citations and notes you save are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. They are not uploaded to our servers.

2.5 Cached Summaries

Your last 5 summaries are cached locally in your browser for offline access. This data never leaves your device.

4. Third-Party Services

IQPage uses the following third-party services:

• Stripe — processes payments securely. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Page content sent for AI processing is not retained after the response is generated.

6. Data Security

All data transmitted between the extension and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Our backend is hosted on Railway with industry-standard security practices. We never sell your data to third parties.

7. Children's Privacy

IQPage is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of any future communications
